Directed by Anton Corbijn. This biographical film is about Ian Curtis, lead singer from Joy Division. Based on a book written by Deborah Curtis (his widow), who also co-produced the film. Starring Sam Riley as Ian Curtis and Samantha Morton as Deborah, it portraits the life and death of Curtis, specially his marriage, his affair with Annik and the formation and rise of Joy Division. Wisely done in black and white, I love every second of this movie.
